My Bio
I started drawing when I was 10, sitting in front of a TV copying Dragon Ball Z pictures. I occasionally managed to get some practice with other mediums in school, but have never had much formal training.

I lost most of my time and motivation during college and for a few years after, until discovering - you guessed it - MLP:FiM. The community was opening and welcoming and really helped with both some mental stuff and getting back into art. It's been a few years and I'm not terribly interested in Pony stuff anymore, but I did find an amazing artistic girl who's kept me on my toes ever since.

I don't often spend my free time legitimately trying to train myself, preferring to look for learning opportunities in each picture, but I'm hoping to get even more serious sometime soon.

Looking through my gallery, it might be easy to tell, but I'm inspired by the Impressionists (Monet and Van Gogh, in particular), Dali, strip cartoonists like Jim Davis, Bill Waterson, and Scott Adams, dark humor such as Night Vale, and a myraid of cartoons and animes I've watched.

Most of the weird stuff I draw was pulled out of an image in my head when I was half asleep and many were not drawn, well, sober. What I look for when I'm drawing is both an escape from common life and a way explain my core self to other people.

During my days, I'm usually working with databases, analyzing trends, optimizing stuff, and coming up with new reporting tools. At night, I dream of being a sea gypsy in the South Pacific or creating installations that force a perspective shift or starting a successful comic of my own.

Everybody, if you're still watching me... I want to say a few things: First, thank you. Second, you're amazing. Third, I'm sorry I haven't really been on DA. I had my own site for a bit, then I didn't, then I didn't have time, then I had an explosion...

We'll see how this turns out, but I'm going to start considering commissions. For further details, just take a look at the profile.

For those who only watch me on dA... I don't actually know if it will tell you "Hey, this thing's been updated!" So... An Equestrian Invasion is finished. Finished... and posted. I put a link in the AEI document, but in case it's easier to find, here's another one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3ZjbA2NGAU&feature=youtu.be
